Before unpacking your moving boxes, it is better to plan your unpacking. You must have a strategy to simplify the unpacking. The best and most efficient way for unpacking is picking one room at a time. Unpacking all the boxes at once will create confusion. Set the priority for unpacking each room.
- Protect walls and floors of new home
You don’t want to ruin the floor and walls of a new house while unpacking boxes, large appliances, and furniture. So, prepare your house for unpacking. To prevent scratches and damage to the walls, you can cover them with cardboard. Cover floors with old sheets, cardboard and other protective items
- Unbox the essential items first

Once the moving company unload the boxes ask them to put each box according to the label on them. Sort these boxes by the labels and decide which box needs to be opened on priority.

- Get rid of packing material
After unpacking each room get rid of the boxes, wraps and tape waste. This will keep the place clean or it will be easy to clean after the complete set up of the house.
